MAKING THE DIFFERENCE:
In this role you will shape the digital future of Eastpak by partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to help developing a digital first culture across the Eastpak organization while driving and exceeding our eCommerce, marketplaces and digital key accounts financial results via the development of the assortment strategy including the creation of the digital exclusive assortment. You will also be accountable for driving and developing a strong and fast growing digital buying & merchandising team growing their analytical and business acumen skills always acting in line with the VF guiding principles.
MORE DETAILS - A DAY IN THE LIFE OF:
As the lead of the digital digital buying & merchandising team you will be responsible for:
- Being a digital thought leader enforcing a collaborative test and learn culture while fostering fast and nimble decision making hyper-responsive to the market and ability to change track
- Playing a key role in bringing to life the brand creative vision within the channels you are responsible for and beyond
- Hitting and overachieving topline, margin and profit P&L objectives across all online channels
- Digital marketplaces P&L management: financial plans drafting & monthly phasing reviews, participate in the definition of the yearly budget, costs and profitability control including the approval of all related invoices
- Ensuring the execution of the Eastpak digital buying & merchandising GTM strategy working closely with the Eastpak Digital Marketing & Innovation Director, Digital Key Accounts Manager and Senior eCommerce & Marketplaces Manager
- Review and validate the buy and assortment plans: OTB, buying process and inventory targets across all digital channels
- Review and validate product launches and pre-launches across digital channels
- Promotional strategy development and execution across DTC channels
- Identifying regional specific assortment opportunities based on consumer and industry trends
- Creation and development of the DTC exclusive assortment in close collaboration with Marketing, Product and Planning
- Coordinating with the sales team with regards to the different accounts suggested size of categories and inventory
- Overviewing the digital marketplaces online merchandising activities: collections onboardings, ect.
- Leads BI & ERP projects
- Weekly, monthly and yearly forecasting and reporting
- Provide the wholesale teams with indications and learnings relative to the retail performance
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years retail buying & merchandising experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment
- Worked with consumer sales preferably in the accessories, apparel or footwear industry
- Cross country trading experience
- Successful team development experience
- Track record of consistent promotion and working across departments
- P&L management experience
- Lead Cross functional teams / project
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
