Skills & Experience

No need to apply if you don’t have…

• Experience running Linux-based systems
• Experience with GIT
• The ability and motivation to learn new tech quickly

Bonus points for experience with…

• High availability architectures
• DevOps tools (e.g. Ansible, Docker, CloudFormation, Kubernetes)
• NodeJS
• Streaming architectures like Apache Kafka
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment with Jenkins
• AWS
• additional languages (e.g. Go, JS, Python, Ruby, R)

Tasks & Responsibilities

Your job is to care for our infrastructure. You’ll have to make it as fast, secure, scalable and as easily configurable as possible. A typical day may include these activities:

• Writing shell scripts to automate developer tasks
• Writing infrastructure as code
• Applying security patches to existing infrastructure
• Reading an article about interesting DevOps tech
• Help other engineers design an architecture
