Our client is a nice employer with lots of opportunities and possibilities to participate in projects and to grow horizontally or vertically in the upcoming years (due to rapid growth of their Finance department).
The main accountabilities for this job include:
- Resolve issues with local finance teams
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Ensure that business processes are continuously improved and team KPI's are met
- Question the existing processes and optimize the ERP system
- Assist in audits and any ad hoc project or process request
- Provide active support in implementing new tools
You will also assist in:
- Review vendor/customer balance reconciliations
- Review bank reconciliations
- Record and review the necessary provision and accruals
- Review intercompany transactions
The requested qualifications for this job include:
Interpersonal skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Tax or equivalent through experience
- 3-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English - Dutch isn't obligatory (English environment)
- Knowledge of ERP packages and extensive Excel experience
- Knowledge of data entry and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Enthusiastic team player who also works perfectly independent
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Critical look at own work
